Paint Horse Racing launches first digital issue
The American Paint Horse Association recently launched its premier digital edition of Paint Horse Racing magazine on January 11. An award-winning print publication, Paint Horse Racing transitioned to a digital publication this year, beginning with the January 2013 issue.
Dedicated to Paint racehorses and speed-event horses, Paint Horse Racing is the only magazine fully dedicated to this segment of the Paint Horse industry. Its new digital format allows more timely distribution of information, integration of audio and video, and expanded content.
The January 2013 Paint Horse Racing marks the debut of several new editorial sections, including the “Pick a Winner” racing analysis column with Remington Park Handicapper Dale Day, “Chaplain’s Corner” column with Sam Ed Spence, and the “Spotted: Trackside” photo gallery. This issue also includes articles about Masterpiece Challenge winner CRM Livewire, speed event exhibitors’ stories of triumph at the 2012 APHA World Championship Show, and an explanation of APHA’s new cropout registration rule and how it affects racehorse breeders. Read the inaugural digital issue here.
Everyone is invited to sign up for a free subscription to the digital Paint Horse Racing magazine. Digital issues are published six times annually and emailed directly to subscribers; coverage is supplemented with bi-monthly APHA Racing E-Newsletters as well as a printed Paint Horse Racing Yearbook mailed free of charge to subscribers in March.
